Bridging the Gap Between Advanced Science and Executive SearchOur firm was founded on a simple realization: the advanced materials sector is moving too fast for generalist recruiters.For nearly a decade, our founder - a polymer chemist holding a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Project Management - worked directly at the bench and led high-stakes corporate R&D initiatives across diverse commercial sectors, including aerospace, automotive, construction materials, and defense. Throughout that time in the industry, an ongoing bottleneck became clear: traditional technical recruiters frequently lacked the foundational scientific literacy required to truly evaluate specialized talent. They relied heavily on matching surface-level keywords to a job description, leaving technical hiring managers to do the heavy lifting of deeply screening candidates.We built this practice to fundamentally change that dynamic.
